Coats for Kids Coat Drive - Since 2007 JBGoodwin REALTORS® teamed with Coats for Kids to provide coats for over 1000 needy kids! We collect coats door to door and at each of our three offices. This is such a great charity. Donated coats are collected by volunteers, cleaned by a donation from Jack Brown Cleaners, and then redistributed by volunteers directly to those in need. So every donation of time, coats, or money goes directly to those in need. | |

Austin Habitat for Humanity This is a really cool charitable organization that goes so well with those people interested in real estate or helping others. I volunteered on our office team that "deconstructed" a house in Rob Roy. That's right, not only does Habitat build houses, but they help in the demolition of homes for remodeling or to build a new house on the same spot. The materials that are salvageable are sold at the Habitat Re-Store which helps fund the construction of houses. All those salvaged materials don't end up in land fill. We had a great time and it was all for a good cause! | |
